Blaire and Brodie are quite the pair.  Blair is the laid-back lady-like of the two girls.  Brodie would as soon jump on you, knock you down and lick you to death.  Having not kept either of Bazima's doe kids from 2006, we kept both of these girls this year.  Brodie has placed 1st and 2nd several times, while Blaire was in the top five at the District 7 Alpine Specialty show.  We feel that by breeding Bazima to Dynasty, we fixed the feet and leg problems that runs in the Blanc/Bazima line.  These young ladies are much tighter at the toe and cleaner through the front legs and front end assembly then their mama.  We look forward to watching them grow up!

Liela is a kid that I waited on for like -- EVER!  I had sold all of Lydia's other daughters during our two major sell-downs in 2002 and in 2005.  I had nothing out of her and after almost losing her in the spring and fall of 2007, I debated on whether to breed Lydia again or not.  My five-year-old took that decision out of my hand when he left the gate open.  Thank goodness what would have been my buck of choice was the only one in that pen.  

Lydia was kind enough to present me with a BEAUTIFUL doeling and a white buckling.  Liela is so much like her mother in style and type and reminds me a lot of her maternal aunt, Miraculous.  She showed extremely well going 1st and 2nd at some VERY large shows this year.  She is growing much faster then anyone else in the kidding pen, but this doesn't surprise me with Lydia being her mother.  I cannot wait to see her grow up!
