Our History

Thank you for your interest in Dreamhigh Farms.
Christy has been raising these beautiful animals since 1990 under the herd name of ApCree Acres. We switched our herd name to Dreamhigh Farms as our interest and partnership in these animals grew. They are a true joy to us and to our family. We couldn't achieve what we do without the help of our young children; Kassondra, Matthew, Colton, Darren, and our beautiful son, Easton. We are fortunate to operate our herd in a wonderful family atmosphere with our extended family, The Anselmo's.  It takes all of us to make this possible!  We strive to develop animals of the highest quality, with a superior ability to be a true dairy goat and produce large amounts of quality milk, while having beautiful conformation.

We have had our share of successes and heartbreaks with these beautiful animals.  We have achieved several permanent GCH does and bucks, as well as many Best In Shows, and Best Udder in Shows.  We have had a Top Ten doe, and have participated in Linear Appraisal and DHI testing.  We rotate which programs we use, in order to take part in all of them.

Feel free to ask us about any animals in our herd, either past or present.

We know that the future holds incredible possibilities for all of us.  We have gone through a lot of changes in the past couple of years, and it has all been for the better.  Please feel free to give us a call or drop us an Email -- we LOVE to talk goats!

Management
Our kids are fed milk from CAE Negative Does. We do own a select-few positive animals, but DO NOT use that milk for kid consumption. We test every year before kidding for CAEV through WADDL at WSU. We feed our animals a high quality diet of Alfalfa Hay and Alfalfa Pellets, and a  special grain-mix that we mix ourselves. They are consistently offered a free choice loose Goat Mineral, and a Sodium Bi-Carb. We vaccinate with CD&T, Bo-Se (when needed), and worm on a rotating schedule with Safeguard and Ivomec.

Purchasing a Kid from Dreamhigh
A $75 deposit is required to hold the kid of your choice with the balance due upon the notification of birth. We will hold your kid up until three weeks of age at no additional charge, after which a $1.50 per day fee will be added until shipment. The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. We suggest you make a 2nd choice, but will do our best to accommodate you, the customer. We reserve the right to terminate the contract upon birth due to special circumstances with the deposit being refunded to you the buyer. The kid's will be started out with their first shots for Enterotoxemia, Tetanus, and Bo-Se. If there are additional things that you would like to be done to your animals upon birth we will do our best to accommodate you as well. Prices are negotiable, and payment arrangements are accepted.

We look forward to your questions and comments.

If you would like further information please feel free to contact us.
